Hi and welcome to our Show and Tell. We are showing off some of our fun items that we collected throughout the years. If you see something of interest and are in the USA please contact us. Then we can possibly list and reserve the item you’re interested in at our Etsy store for purchase. For pickup only items we can list and reserve the item at our Ebay store. We are not selling items through this website, it is for Show and Tell purposes only. Thank You!
These are 22″ tall to top of socket, font has 7″ diameter, base is 5 3/4″ x 5 3/4″. Each weigh 5 3/4 pound. The sockets were replaced with 3 ways but no bulb to check, cords are a old style 2 prong but work. Look like converted Oil lamps or church candle holder bases, maybe a marriage of both. The base columns are unusual and tapered with very ornate brass. The font remind me of Bradley & Hubbard banquet oil lamps with a French flare. Font tops dont have fill caps or anything to suggest oil lamp. The spacers all look similar but little different color then rest of lamp and probably have been added with sockets.
The harps have matching finial caps with one harp having bend, looks like collar that holds harp needs tweaking and the font tops where they meet column spacer are a bit off center, one font top and base looks little more shiny brass and other has a duller mat look, could be different patinas or one cleaned differently, the font bottoms look to have similar finish.
Both have there tarnishing, discolorations, spotting, staining, nice Patina and still look great!!! Who ever converted these did a great job, just wish I knew what was original and added but guessing bases, fonts and top column spacers were original.
Guessing made way before 1998. Cool Old Electrified Parlor Banquet Lamps! Please check pictures for description and condition.
