For Restoration one antique theater light from the 1930’s. This light is unusual with the white shade when most wall lights of this type are red.
Very Unusual all original 1930’s American machine cast brass Illuminated Wall-Mount Theater Exit Light Fixture With Intact White Glass Globe.
Has old/bad wiring. The heavy metal bezel collar looks industrial with its thick threads that threads on off for shade removal, seen rings called speed rings, Measures around 6″ diameter 3″ deep not counting wired socket, wired socket sticks out back 1 3/4″. Weighs is little over 2 1/2 pounds.
Metal looks brass and nonmagnetic. Glass globe is white with red lettering that have few scratches and shade has few small chips/ nicks on fitter ends but I seen much worse, so all in all condition looks amazing for age/ use / 90 years old, do not see any damage just scuffs, scratches, average wear, nice Patina and still looks amazing! Light still needs restoration and should look more amazing once up and running!!
Guessing made in the 1920’s – 1930s. Very cool and would look great on any home or commercial building wall hanging over a door once restored! Condition is very good looking but again need rewiring/ restoration.
Please check pictures for description and condition.
