Chicago Worlds Fair Tray Century Of Progress Dish. Measures a 4 3/4″ top diameter and sits 1/2″ tall. Nice weight for size at close to 5 oz. Seen these called bronze brass copper and who know what else. I’d say brass with nice copper wash that Is still intact and great Patina showing true age.
Good condition for age with light scuffs, scratches, dings, few imperfections from making process with ruffs edge bottom designs, nice Patina and still looks great! Made by Century Art Works Chicago USA.

The fair, registered under the Bureau international des Exposition (BIE), celebrated the city’s centennial. The theme of the fair was Technology innovation ,and its motto was “Science Finds, Industry Applies, Man Adapts”, giving out a message that science and American life were wedded.[1] Its architectural symbol was the Sky Ride a transporter bridge perpendicular to the shore on which one could ride from one side of the fair to the other.
