Eagle Trade Sign. Looks mixed metals, all non magnetic. Doubles sided sign. Eagle and oval hanging plaque looks bronze or brass except for the hanging bracket, maybe white metal or even aluminum, hard to judge the weight cause eagle and sign are heavy. Weight is little over 7 pounds. What is cool about this sign is no name on it so possible used the way it was to attract business or name was removed. This would make a great Harley dealership sign or just hang over a bar in a mancave.
Sign total height is around 17″. Bracket measures 16 1/4″ long sticking away from wall, top part of bracket where eagle sits is 1 1/8″ thick/deep, part that mounts to wall is 8″ tall with widest part of 2 3/4″ and tapers down.
Eagle is 11 3/4″ tall, 6″ inches from front talon to back tail feathers. 1/4″ thick and thicker in few areas. Eagles bottom bar is 9 1/2″ long mounted to wall mounting bracket.
Oval sign is held on by two flat head nuts and bolts, has little play possible to bend with the wind, measures 14″ wide, 5 1/8″ tall and 1/16″ thick.
Vintage condition with scratches scuffs dings nicks and still looks awesome!!! Only 2 mounting holes in bracket so if hanging outside in hurricane winds you may need to add a few holes for more screws if possible.
Guessing made late 1800’s early 1900’s. Cool & Rare Eagle Trade Sign!!! Please check pictures for description and condition.
