Antique Bronze Mermaid Tray Mold.
Metal mold looks bronze and nonmagnetic. Bought it as bronze and sure heavy like bronze but do see copper tint. Tray that came with it measures 6 1/2″ x 3 1/2″. Molds sections are 9 3/8″ long x 4 1/4″ wide, when together its 10 1/2″ across both wood handles and just metal thickness is around 1 3/4″. This is an antique and may be the original mold for many of these type trays out there. Painted tray came with mold and included. I know just putting the tray gently in mold, its locks it in tight and have to work it out so could be from the mold. It will be shipped out the mold so you dont have to work it out.
Weight for just the molds no tray is heavy at little over 11 pound 5 oz. Not sure of tray metal but has nice weight at 1 pound and non magnetic.
Good looking condition and looks well taken care of with normal age related wear. Shows scratches, scuffs, dings , tarnishing, verdigris, and still looks great. Do not see any damage. Handles are on nice and secure and screws look original handles. Handles have metal band where meets molds. These are untested!
