Antique metal that looks Bronze or Brass. Vintage Figural Dog Inkwell. No inkwell cup/ insert. Measures around 5″ long x 3″ wide and 2 3/8″ tall to top of dogs head. Weight is nice at solid 10 oz. Looks in good condition with average wear for age with light scratches scuffs and verdigris and greening. Heads little loose but looks to be from making process. Once cup/ insert is found and replaced piece will be complete but displays nicely the way it is.
Vintage and preowned, Fun Golden Retriever Inkwell! Seen these called French antique figural inkwells made of bronze but do not see any markings stating it.
Stands and bases not included just inkwell is for sale. Guessing early 1900s. Cool Old Inkwell.
