Antique Mantel Keystone Pieces, Pair Fireplace Keystones, Vintage Slate Keystones, Architectural Salvage. Look slate and parts range from 1 1/4″ thick to 1 1/8″ thick. 9″ tall and bottoms are 8″ wide. Heavy at 13 1/4 pound for the pair.
Both numbered on backside. Both have nuts and bolts, but the bolts are frozen, I added little Kroil oil which may help down the line in removal or not. These have their nicks, chips, scratches & scuffs finish wear, nice patina and look just great! It unusual to find a pair so if you need two here you go.
Guessing made mid 1800s. Great Looking Pieces of Stone for the mason in the family!!
