Antique Victorian England Brass Ships Lantern converted to electric leaving the oil lamp usable. Guessing brass and nonmagnetic. Has age to it with its finish wear few light dings, some tarnishing spots and still displays great with its very nice Patina. Marked made in Britain on back above hanging bracket. Light is working condition; bulb & shade is not included. Glass is in good condition and oil lamp looks nice clean as wick but untested.
Case measures 16″ tall x 8 1/4″ wide x 6 3/4″ deep. and 18″ to top of handle in upright position. 23 1/2″ to top of socket, 32″ tall to top of harp finial, wood base is 8 1/2″ x 8″ deep including wire routing tube. Weight is a nice 8 1/2 pound. Cool Lamp!
