No Bulb included, Art Deco period with two nude ladies holding clock, lamp Frankart Era for restoration. Here is a stunning and rare Art Deco Frankart Era modernistic metal lamp with two nude ladies. Lamp in “as is” condition – Clock mechanism is missing and one glass shade panel is missing also but tabs are present so panel can be replaced with no problem. It looks like the lamp wire has fraying and kinking so needs rewiring.
It is truly exquisite and has so much going for it! This cool deco lamp has two nude ladies one on each end holding up a clock between them. The clock has small sitting figuring wearing a turban sitting on top. The beautiful deco ladies have 1920′s flapper hairdos, they are facing away from each other, with arms down and hands in back of them holding the clock up between them. There is a dragon carved on top of the base.. The overall measurement of the lamp is 14 1/4″ tall to top of curved lamp/wire housing, base is 9″ wide by 6″ deep. figurines are 9″ tall, clock opening looks to have around a 2 1/4″ – 2 3/8″ diameter, you could put a quartz or hunt down a key wing true to period clock mechanism. The lamp has nice weight at close to 5 3/4 lb.
There are no maker markings. There is a rocker switch on cord that turns lamp on and off and still works but again needs rewiring. A worthy piece of art deco for restoration.
