Measures 7 1/2″ tall and 5 1/4″ widest diameter. Weight is nice at hair under 1 pound. Jar is unsigned. Has newly added rubber or plastic bumper feet. Looks similar to Norman Bacon art work but unsigned. Has its scuffs and scratches and still looks great! Came with several Norman Bacons jars that were signed.
The Raku process consists of rapid firing and cooling, which transform clay objects into natural works of art. The resulting piece has colors and textures that cannot be duplicated.
Guessing made before 2000. Cool Old Raku Vase!!! Have other Raku Pottery.
