Bronzed and whitish green marble or onyx Tray. Stone has nice grain with brown accent strip, old green felt bottom still attached. Looks bronze or brass with yellow showing through the ducks Patina but could be another metal, non magnetic.
Seen similar duck trays called Art Deco, Austrian, Mid Century, what ever it is the duck is well done for size, vintage, detailed and a nice small sized waterfowl at just 1 1/2″ long, marble is 3 1/4″ x 2 3/4″ and 3/4″ thick.
Unsigned unless under old felt, Duck sits snug but can spin 1/4 turn for the look you like, sideways, drinking out the bowl, any prolong spinning can loosen the duck which did retighten, but may loosen to the point of having to tighten the nut under the felt, so should find the sweet spot and leave it alone in order not to have to remove felt or pop a hole in it down the line to tighten.
Greenish stone with cool brown colored highlight stripe and tray has very nice vanes, feels hard like a hard stone and is polished so check pictures. Weight is nice for size at little over 1/2 pound.
Stone in good vintage condition and dont see or feel any damage. just small nicks/ ruff edge. Duck in good condition with finish wear, scratches, scuffs, dings, nice Patina and still looks great!
