Vintage Victor Molero Type Inlaid Wood Chess Board Box. This is unsigned but usually Made In Spain.

Far from perfect and still looks great. Chess pieces included. Intricately made folding chess board, detailed with sliding compartments for storage of pieces and craftsmanship all over this piece.

Board measures 13 3/4″ x 9 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ open. 9 1/2″ x 7″ x 3″ closed. Weight is close to 1 3/4 lb. Boards in good usable condition as pieces. Board does have age wear with scratches scuffs and stains to box and chess squares. Dings with few on the top and long cracks in the gloss squares also on the top.

Chess pieces look molded plastic and may not be original to the set, but fit and look good. One green felt chess piece bottom came off and I stick glued it back on so you may find loose one or two felts but easy fix. Board opens and closes good with little more spacing on one side. Has few chips on the side black wood and could use little black marker touch up. All in all fun Piece for the chess player!
