Cool old tray that looks like a French Bull Dog, but you be the judge! Painted gold, and looks to be original paint. Bought as brass but looks and see white metal showing through scratch on the inner bottom, metal non-magnetic. Has nice weight at a little over 2 pounds. The dog is 4 1/4″ long, bowl inside diameter is 4″. Bottom measures 6 1/4″ long x 5″ wide, tray is 3 1/2″ tall to top of dog ears. Very well done.
Details great and don’t see any damage and tray sits fine. Probably had felt bottom at one time, but has been long gone. Has its scuffs, scratches and stains inside bottom of bowl, nice patina and still looks great!
Guessing made 1920s- 1940s. Cool old Art Deco coin, key, pin, ashtray that would make any bull dog collector smile!
