Vintage Antique French Metal Jewelry Box L. Aldigier Le Printemps D’Apres Lancret. Measures 4″ x 2 7/8″ x 1 5/8″ tall. Weight is 9 oz. Scratched inside bottom is LE PRINTEMPS. Copper wash is wearing off the box. Could be silver plated and non magnetic metal. Has its wear with bent hinges but work solid, Top lifts up on one side when closed and little off center. Small ding on bottom edge so may have been dropped at one time. with little corners having bends and box having scratches and scuff about.
What is unusual about this box is what looks like the NY Yankee Logo in a shield on the facade of the box with nice designs on all 4 sides. Guessing late 1800s – early 1900s.
