Mission Style Hammered Copper Wall Pocket c1925. Unsigned. Excellent original conditions. Looks similar to Harry St John Dixon. Seen his Hammered wall pockets and these fall into that design and quality of workmanship. Whoever made these wall pockets they look like a million.
These have 8 1/4″ diameters, 1 1/2″ deep. Each weight hair under 1 pound. These are in good original conditions and display nicely. What makes these unusual is the matching pair! The copper and brazing material is showing through the original applied colors and Patina. Looks like the red paint is wearing but not sure what’s supposed to have applied patina and color or not. Obviously finish gone in places showing the solder. Deep In the pockets themselves there is greening verdigris and tarnishing.
Guessing made 1920’s. Cool Old Wall Pockets!! Shipping prices for lower 48 states. Delivery signature confirmation will be required.
