Seen similar plaques stated from ATC with the Indian headdress supposedly mounted on ATC factories. LS/MFT Lucky Strike Logo.
George Washington Hill 1884-1946, President of ATC 1925- 1946. LS/MFT Famous slogans – Its Toasted, Quality of product is essential to continuing success, Nature Is the raw seldom mild, Reach for a Lucky instead of a sweet, Lucky Strike Green has gone to war. Know your ATC history because no expert here.
Looks solid cast bronze but could be brass metal with heavy aged patina. Measures around 14″ wide x 5 3/4″ tall and 1/4 thick. Weight is a whopping 4 3/4 pounds.
Vintage condition with scratches, scuffs, dings, nicks, stains, verdigris, nice patina and still looks awesome!!! This plaque is unusual having no holes or hooks so good chance never made it to factory building for mounting so would need to drill holes or mount on custom made wood backing for hanging. Or you can use a stand and keep LS/MFT Logo original as found! Guessing made 1920’s. Cool & Unusual ATC Tobacciana!
