Antique Solid Cast Mail Slot Post Office Bronze or Brass Letter Mail Slot. Metals nonmagnetic. No swinging door, just open slot, similar to post office drops. Old cast and you can see the cast imperfections with the wear down on metal slot guide from commercial use for years and years, wear and tear and ready to work another generation or two.
This slot is unmarked. Back has been repainted. Front is original. Raised letters and boarder. No mounting hardware included. Did try a bolt in the 4 threaded mounting holes and all caught well.
Measures 11″ x 3 3/8″ and 2″ deep. Weight is heavy at hair over 1 pound. Old condition and love the way it looks, use as is or, detail it or restore to its former glory.
