Antique Vintage Pryne & Co Inc Mail Slot Door w/ Eagle. This slot is marked. Hard to read back and harder to find these but one stated bronze with lead weight attached, Los Angeles – San Francisco Pat. Pend. But bracket is magnetic. Seen cover of their 1935 fan catalogs. Long gone company.
Looks all original. Raised letters Eagle design on front and boarder. No mounting hardware included. Looks like it screwed in on the side of bracket for mounting w/ 2 holes each side.
Face measures 8″ wide x 2 1/2″ tall and unit is 4 1/2″ deep counting pull handle. Weight is close to 1 1/2 pound. Old condition and love the way it looks as is or restore to its former glory. Incorporate it into your mail slot project.
