1800’s mining safety lamp. Don’t see a name on it but it’s surprising how many companies produced these back in the day. No shade/chimney or bulb included. Has the 3 set screws. Fitter end has little bending and looks to take a 2 1/8″ diameter or smaller chimney. Be a fun project to find a nice chimney for this old lamp.
Measures 12″ tall to top of socket and bottom has a 3 1/2″ diameter. Weight is close to 3 pounds. Not sure of metal but center section is magnetic. Metal has great patina.
Has pull chain and seems to work OK. Plug was added to this antique lamp many years ago and probably needs updated wiring. Glass has cracks shown in last picture but its thick glass and crack solid, glass will spin and something rattling around in the font. Whoever converted did a good job.
Guessing made mid 1800’s. Cool old lamp project!! Please check pictures for description and condition.
