Attributed to Charles P. Wilson who is well known for his English Countryside’s. Certainly looks like his work, either way lovely painting. One of P. Wilsons larger English countryside painting.
Overall frame measurements is around 44″ wide x 32″ tall. Front canvas image only is 36 1/2″wide x 24″ tall. Weight is 10 pounds.
Painting has age spotting dust small bums/ bruises shown in last picture which are hard to see on image side. Canvas isn’t as tight as it could be but its in frame good. Frame has age wear with scratches scraping and scuffing and is nicely carved and quite the old frame.
