Antique Brass looking, non magnetic but could be another metal. Lidded Urns look to have had copper wash at one. Each measures close to 7 1/2″ tall with top on and 4 1/2″ tall without tops. Bottom or bases measure 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″. Outside top diameters are 1 5/8″. Nice weight for size with both together weighing in at little over 2 1/2 pound.
Good old looking condition with average wear for antiques but see one issue and looks like they were repaired/ modified and soldered or welded so they won’t unscrew off or separate from bases. One is little loose and one will unscrew a hair before tightening again, do see threaded bolt. Possible they were soldered from coming loose or the bases were added later for the mounting aspect with them having mounting holes, so these are mountable urns. Look like all was original but cant be sure. Both have scratches, scuffs, tarnishing verdigris, oxidation, dings, nice Patinas and still look great!!
These old urns sit good, look good, tops fit good and are matching set! Guessing made late 1800s -early 1900s. Cool Old Hard to Find Small Urns!!
