Richard Myer Bronze Metal Sculpture Western Americana signed on bronze what looks like RM, signed in pencil on base Rich Myer 1979, has original 1982 price sticker attached to bottom also.
Fun piece titled First Catch, when you move sculpture the fish moves in motion for a good amount of time! Measures total height of 4 1/4″ to top of fishing pole, base is 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ and 7/8″ thick. Just boy no base is 3 1/4″ tall to top of feather. Nice weight for size at little over 9 oz. Not sure of wood but base has nice grain and stain.
Good condition with average wear and looks well taken care of with only issue I see, is glue used on edges of bronze to hold the bronze on the wooden base with few scratches, scuffs, few small dings to wood base also. Needs detailed dusting.
