Top outside diameter is 5″ and bottom diameter is 4 3/8″. 3″ tall to top of rim and 3 3/4″ tall to top of copper looking lid. Weight is nice at 1 pound 6 oz. Has white porcelain cup/ insert included and in good condition.
Inkstand looks in good condition also with average wear for age with light scratches scuffs stains, verdigris and greening, handling marks. One holder does twist out and I was able to take picture of it, rest are in tight and dont twist out . Not sure if anything else belongs to this piece or missing.
Seen these called 18th and 19 century Sevres inkstands and this one has a similar marking on bottom but has not been authenticated. There are a few of these type inkwells online to compare to. Vintage and preowned, Lovely Inkwell Pen Stand! Shipping prices for lower 48 states.
