Spread Winged Eagle, Old Brass or Bronze Finial Topper Ornate Decorative Arts Hardware. Heavy for size at close to 3/4 pound. Has bronze look and nonmagnetic. No bolt, threaded hole looks to have close to 3/16″ diameter. Been used for years and you can feel the grit.
Older piece and nicely detailed. Facing left and has full tail feathers which is unusual. Comes with scratches, scuffs, greening, tarnishing, verdigris, Nice Patina and looks great! Measures 3″ tall with 5 1/4″ wing span.
Guessing made way before 2003. Cool Old Eagle!!
