Classic Arthur Court designs, this cool Pug dog has bronze look but believe its made of cast brass (nonmagnetic) with a turned oak wood body and glass eyes. Signed properly Arthur Court Designs Copywrite 1979.
Measures close to 6″ tall to top of ears, 3 1/8″ wide and 4 3/4″ deep. Weight is nice at solid 2 pounds. This one looks to have an original 40 year+ Patina!
Good usable condition with wood having its scratches, scuffs, large ding shown in last picture, nice Patina and still looks great! Metal is in good condition with legs little loose but stable with tarnishing & verdigris about and lot of greening on bottom, nice Patina. The lid opens and closes fine but head is so heavy it will flip back fast and hard and years of that tweaked the hinge a bit so where head meeting bowl has space when closed and not fully seated shown in pictures
Head is sold and opens and closes just fine but heavy so keep an eye on it when flipping it open or even movie it around cause its a little heavy weight of a piece!
