Found the description on their site cause Wrought Sash Mesker is still up and running! Cool Historic Company. 1930s cast bronze ashtray from Mesker Brothers Iron Works, promoting their Genuine Wrought Iron Sash. Obviously intended to be a Christmas gift, most likely for clients or sales representatives. Stand not included.
Measurements are 4 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ and has nice weight at 10 oz.. Feels heavy like good old bronze.
Has age and finish wear with scratches, scuffs, greening, tarnishing, sticker residue, nice Patina and still look great!! One of the nicer condition trays I’ve seen.
Guessing made 1930’s. Cool find and ready for use and display!
